"A Chaplain's biggest gift is to be present and just listen....."

Here in the Community Chaplaincy we spend a lot of our time doing exactly that - sitting down with a cuppa and sharing a laugh, offering a shoulder to cry on, and listening to peoples stories about the ups and downs of life.

You might have come across Chaplains before; in hospital, or at work or at school and college - chaplains can be found in all kinds of settings, they are there to listen and to understand that sometimes life can be stressful, and in those times it can be helpful to know there's always someone you can talk to.

Much of our time is spent in the social cafe at Mount Tabor, but quiet and private spaces can be made available if you want a chat of a more confidential nature.

Share Community Chaplaincy is supported through the Methodist Church and is based at Mount Tabor in Parson Cross, Sheffield. It is open to everyone but has a neighbourhood focus in Parson Cross, Foxhill, Southey and Longley areas.
